About Us
What is a Finishing School. The term is used to describe a place where your education is “finished” with knowledge of the social and life skills necessary for success in today’s world. Proverbs 31 Finishing School has been sharing this knowledge to students of all ages for more than 12 years.
Miriam Gail Becker
Mrs. Miriam Gail Becker, President, is a born again Christian and felt the calling of God to reach out to the women & girls of today to guide them in Christian behavior and give them tools for success where ever God leads them.
To prepare her for this ministry, Mrs. Becker was chosen Q83 Talk Radio's Resident Manners Coach in Ohio for her light-hearted responses to call-in questions on their morning show.
Additionally her manners classes were voted most fun activity by the Northeast Ohio Girl Scouts, (second only to Cedar Point Amusement Park in 2010).
Her Ladies Tea Room "Southern Gardens" was designated as #1 in the State of Ohio and nominated as a "place not to miss" by the Akron Beacon Journal subscribers.
Mrs Becker's was the host of an on-line Christian Radio Show called GG Talks, and continues with her Interior Decorating business.
Her hope is to share her love of God and prepare today's women and men for a future full of promise..
Janie Heatherly
Mrs. Heatherly has been in ministry for many years to those incarcerated in Prison. Her Godly manner and loving attention to those in need make her a favorite P31FS instructor. As our Assistant Director, her attention to detail and dedication to the Lord's work give her the tools she needs for ministry work and it is evident in her life.

About Us
In today's fast paced world, there are men and women who are not coping with life well. Proverbs 31 Finishing School and Freedom Star Programs work with area missions and ministries to give life-skills to those in desperate need of help to find a new life. Then they can move forward with a brighter, more fulfilling future as sons and daughters of the King of Kings.
